I need to think of things to update. I think my brain has probably turned into goo. =.=” Gotta sleep in the “guest room” surrounded by tons of stuff cos they’re still doing up our room. Our toilet is none existent right now cos they’ve removed all the tiles, “throne” and shower. It’s also incredibly dusty… but at least the drilling has stopped. (or maybe it’s cos I’m away at college)

Still am pretty busy, with college work and work placement and all. I’ve finally submitted my internship form. I dunno if I made the right choices though. *scared* I really wouldn’t mind going to Singapore to intern, but it’s the whole cost of living and such. If I didn’t have to worry about that, well, I wouldn’t mind interning anywhere. *sigh* Anyone in SG willing to put me up for 3 months? XD

It’s almost the end of business day 25 (normal calender day 31) and I’m still waiting on my dollie. 🙁

Been procrastinating, but I will attempt to finish my work before going on my holiday. (Yay! Skip out on 1st week of college) Gotta prolly drop by college sometime next week to help someone alter a pair of jeans. My machine can’t bear the weight (cos it’s not industrial, damnit!)

So yea… dollie. I’m really really hoping he’ll arrive at leasssttt by the 15th. But if I don’t get any updates by the end of next week, I’m gonna have to ask them to hold on to it till the middle of my trip (then it will arrive just as I’m coming home. Yay!) I did also think about asking them to send it directly to me in China, but meh, I’ll be moving around alot, and I don’t have an exact address of the hotel. :S

Zee Avi Live

The S.O and I had a great time at the Zee Avi concert last night despite the long wait. My only irk was the fact that we had to pay RM 15 for parking as well as RM 6 for a 1.5 liter bottle of 100 plus. Talk about being ripped off. >:( Anyway, I’m pretty happy that I got to catch her live. She’s pretty tiny too. :O I liked the fact that she sounded the same live as she would have in her CDs. Not many artiste can pull that off.

Funny, how I discovered Zee Avi. My friend Dara (who lives in Alaska) told me to check out this singer on YouTube, and so I did. I was surprised that she (Zee Avi) was actually Malaysian and it took my American friend to tell me about her. =.=” But yea, I found her interesting, scanned YouTube for more of her songs and the rest my friends, is history.

All in all, Zee Avi gave a great performance together with her drummer, Reed and cellist, Frank. No pictures though, cos it was mentioned that no cameras were allowed into the hall, so I left mine in the car. And as usual, there are people who still brought them in and was happily taking pictures.  🙁

Valentine’s Day

Sorry for abandoning my blog. 🙁 I’ve been absolutely swamped with doing my garments (yes, until now!) and I don’t think it will stop until after the fashion show. 🙁 So please bear with me.

Anyway, the S.O won tickets to watch Valentine’s Day courtesy of Nuffnang. I was just too lazy to actually write the post to join the contest. Haha. I would consider this movie to have a star studded cast. I mean Julia Roberts, Jennifer Garner, Ashton Kutcher are pretty big household names. Plus, the movie’s pretty cute although I have beef with the censorship board. >.<

I don’t know what the hell they were censoring, but it distracted me a whole lot. 🙁 It’s a movie I would definitely watch again, though not at the cinemas because of all the cuts. It completely disrupted the flow of the story (for me at least). All in all, good movie. It will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside. 😛

Paranormal activities

I’ve always had a fascination with the unknown ever since my experience when I was younger. I believe they do exist, but I’m not crazy as to do some hunting of my own.

When I was 6, I remember seeing a little figure with red eyes. It was fuzzy too. Some would probably say it’s a gremlin, some would say it’s just a figment of my imagination. Then when I was 12, I followed my mom back to her hometown in Thailand. We stayed in her village, and while my family members were sleeping in the room, I slept outside in the hall with my friend, Nam Phon.

I remember waking up in the middle of the night needing to go pee. In the village then, we didn’t have indoor plumbing and the toilet was outside. I really needed to go, but something caught my eye. I noticed a shadowy figure outside. It had this long boney finger and it was trying to open the window. I freaked out. I fell back to sleep but woke up a little later when I heard my mom stirring, then I followed her out to the toilet. =.=”

I kinda remembered about the thing I saw and told my mom about it, but she just said I was seeing things and said it was probably a shadow from a tree. But the nearest tree was a couple of houses down. :S

Lately I’ve been seeing shadowy figures from the corner of my eye. There was once where I thought I saw a guy in a blue shirt and a baseball cap, but when I turned to glance, there was nothing there. Also, a while back,  I mentioned to the S.O that I thought I saw someone standing near the short steps at home. He said it could have been his paternal grandmother cos she fell at the stairs there. =.=”

I’m alright as long as they don’t decide to wake me from my sleep and go “BOO!”

I like reading about youkai (japanese ghosts) and stuff, but I will not watch a horror movie. Weird, I know. 😛

The Legion and cheating

Whoops! Been meaning to blog but I guess work got the better of me. :S

Just got back from watching “The Legion” with the S.O. Didn’t really know much about it except for the whole ‘It’s the end of the world’ storyline. So I went not knowing anything. Overall, I think the story was alright, though some parts of the storyline might need some explanation. CG was pretty good.

I liked how they portrayed the angels, plus black wings (or was it silver?) is sexy. 😀 Paul Bettany is sexy. 😀 But I had my eyes closed for most of the gory parts. Won’t go into detail (cos it might just spoil the story for you) but yea… creepy. Reminded me a little of “Drag me to hell”. *shivers* I don’t do horror films. =.=”

On a different note, I had one of the random-est conversation with the S.O the other day. He apparently scratched the surface of his Oakley sunnies and is pretty ticked off about it. Replacement lens cost RM 250 and he had to replace the pair (only one side got scratched) since they were polarized.

” I’ll pay for the lens with my CNY money,” I told him, but he would have none of that. Instead, he said…

” You buy me a pair when you become famous la,”

” When I become famous I’ll buy you 5 pairs la~”

” Why 5? One for each day is it?”

” No la, it’s a random number. Okay la, I’ll buy you seven then.”

” Cheh! So action.”

” But I’ll put a T&C stating that I’ll only get you one to replace the previous one. And, it’s only up to 7 pairs. ” *laughs evilly*

” Like that also can, so cheat one? I’m gonna write on Twitter that my gf is cheating on me,”

” =.=”. I’m not cheating ON you, just cheating you.” 😛

LoL. So yea, we’re pretty random sometimes.

Mushy pre-Vday post

Valentine’s Day is around the corner. So is the Chinese New Year!

Anyway, this year would be the 7th year the S.O and I have been together. I know 7 years is a long time. Even I am amazed myself as this is by far the longest romantic relationship I’ve ever had.

The S.O and I met through a mutual friend a long long time ago. Actually, I first spoke to him on msn… on dial-up. FML

I admit that I was a little narrow-minded when I was younger, so everything he said irked me. He and the mutual friend enjoyed teasing me and so I was the center of attention (albeit in the wrong way. =.=”) But still even with all the teasing, I still enjoyed talking to him and we even set a date to meet up for the very first time. 🙂

I’d like to think that what brought us together was our mutual love for bubble tea. XD He had actually asked me out to lunch and I thought, “why not?”

He picked me up from the Kelana Jaya LRT in his green 2 door Vitara, and I felt a little self conscious. My first REAL LIFE impression of him; quiet which was the complete opposite of his alter-ego in Cyberspace. Our plan was to have McDonald’s for lunch then slurp on yummy bubble tea after that. We were too stuffed after that to eat or drink anything else, so we decided to call it a day.

A couple of days later, he called asking if I’d like to go grab that promised drink and so we did. We ended up talking and walking from Jaya, past the mosque, and back again TWICE. We talked about so many random stuff, I don’t remember what they were about anymore. But I do know he was the first guy to not flinch at the word marriage.

Then one fine day, he asked me how I felt about him (don’t remember when did this happened) and I guess the rest is history. 🙂

In these 7 years, we’ve been through a lot; LDR, laughter, tears… you name it, we’ve probably gone through it. I’m not perfect and he loves me even with all my flaws. He’s someone I’m extremely comfortable with and I can’t imagine life without him. So, here’s to 7 years and I hope there will be many more to come.

Weekend Madness

Last weekend was an incredibly busy one.

Headed down to Malacca for a day trip on Saturday. Didn’t do much but visited Mahkota Parade and the Pahlawan square place. It was like a mini Sg. Wang there. :S The S.O wasn’t too happy that they “destroyed” a historical landmark by elevating it and building a shopping/food place under it. I don’t quite remember that particular spot cos the last time I went to Malacca was almost 13 years back. o.O

Walked around Jonker street in the afternoon sun. Nothing much to buy. Wanted to have chicken rice balls, but couldn’t cos we were full from lunch and the shop was closed by the time we were prepared to “tapau” and leave. 🙁 But we did have yummeh ice kacang and cendol. Perhaps they should mix the mango bits with the cendol rather than having it on the ice kacang? XD

Sunday was spent attending Lilian Too’s Feng Shui Extravaganza at KLCC (the convention center). Incidentally, the Star Education Fair was also happening. Tons of people during lunch but we managed to snag a spot at Kenny Rogers before it got packed. Got hit by broken glass, luckily I was wearing stockings, so no injuries.

Today is the first day of the new semester. *monotonous* weeeeeee~

Got a nice pressie from Jakarta. 😀 Love the new necklace. Am not prepared for the new semester. I feel like I’m gasping for air. Maybe as time progresses, I’ll get into the groove of things again. Busy Busy! We finally got our own room albeit small. Got chased out of the bigger fashion room to make way for the new intake.

Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!

Got back from my China trip 2 days ago.

Am tired and sick. 🙁 Will blog about the trip once the pictures have been uploaded and edited.

For now, I just wanna rest up and enjoy my weekend before dedicating myself wholly to my homework. 🙁

Merry Christmas everyone! And may you have a blessed new year.

I’ll be heading over to Ampang on New Year’s Eve. Where would you be?

Gone for the week

I’m leaving for the airport in 4 hours.

Hope I don’t forget anything important.

Feeling a little bit nervous (and hungry!)

Am probably gonna be internet-less for a whole week, and even if I did have internet, I might just be too tired to actually do anything.

Hope it isn’t going to be too cold. Last checked, Shanghai’s highest was 3 degrees Celsius. o.O And Beijing is gonna get even colder over the weekend (around minus?)

Got my money, hoping there are a lot of interesting finds.

So goodbye internet. Don’t miss me while I’m gone.
