I read the Time Traveller’s Wife last night and I couldn’t put it down. My vision became blurry and I felt as though I became crossed eyed. =.=” And, I just completed it just now. Honestly, I was a little apprehensive about this book because so many people were raving about it and I am not one who would actually follow the crowd.
But I like the book. It was well written and I love the characters. I thought they were well developed and thought of. I think Henry (the time traveller) is such a sweet guy (or man, whichever you prefer). But certain parts of the story was a little too deep for me. In the book, there were bits of German & French strewn around, and I can’t read either so I didn’t really know what to make of that.
And the whole travel back in time thing can be a tad confusing cos he jumps around so much. But fret not, it is labeled. Also, I love his relationship with Clare. It really is kinda like a love at first sight/true love story book and reading about how their relationship is, sometimes makes me warm and fuzzy inside. I laughed, smiled, worry and cried along. I did also find the book to be a little dark.
Definitely a good read. Now, to watch the movie. 🙂
